 | Phillies Trade Dobson to Astros for Nye Monday, June 2nd, 1975: The Philadelphia Phillies have made a deal sending 26-year-old left fielder Ron LeFlore, 28-year-old right fielder Champ Summers, 31-year-old reliever Chuck Dobson and 29-year-old minor league catcher Skip Jutze to the Houston Astros for 30-year-old starting pitcher Rich Nye and 24-year-old catcher Bill Fahey. Both sides are said to be pleased with the way the trade worked out.
To this point in the season he has had no saves. Dobson has made no relief appearances, tossed 42 innings and struck out 25 with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss.
To date this season Nye has compiled a 5-4 record with a 3.35 ERA in 13 starts. |   |
